AT&T intros first Windows Mobile 6 device

[0]AT&T announced the commercial release of the Tilt smartphone, the operator's first device to run on Microsoft's Windows Mobile 6.0 OS. Manufactured by HTC, the Tilt boasts a slide-out Qwerty keypad and a 2.8-inch color screen that tilts up, hence the device name--it also features TeleNav's GPS-enabled mapping software, which provides turn-by-turn audio and on-screen directions as well as 3D maps and traffic alerts. The Tilt is now available in retail stores and online beginning October 5 for a retail price of $299.99 with a two-year service contract.
