BlackBerry Developers Challenge - Developer Contests

What is the BlackBerry Partners Fund Developer Challenge? Gain distinction by entering to win the BlackBerry Partners Fund Developer Challenge for BlackBerry Developers. The challenge is designed for BlackBerry developers that have created their own BlackBerry applications in one of five main categories: Most Innovative Game, Most Innovative Multimedia Application, Most Innovative Personal Productivity and Lifestyle Application, Most Innovative Enterprise Application, Most Innovative Web Application.

Contest registration and entry period: The contest will begin on August 19th, 2008. Deadline was Sept. 30. Winners announced Oct. 21. 

Prize: Prizes will be awarded in the --three finalists will be chosen in each category, with two grand prize winners receiving a $150,000 investment from the BlackBerry Partners Fund.Other prizes in each category are First - $5,000; Second - $2,500 and Third - $1,000.All finalists will receive free registration for the Developer Conference, 3-night hotel accomodations, and a free BlackBerry Smartphone package.
