FCC approves Motorola Canary (K1)

Tools

The FCC has approved the Motorola Canary, referring to the device as the Motorola K1. The quad-band EDGE flip-phone is the next-generation RAZR. It includes a 2-megapixel camera and, thankfully, a Micro SD slot. The release date is still unknown, but Phone Scoop expects it to be soon, since the company allowed the FCC to publish details of the phone. Rumor has that a CDMA version of the device is destined for Verizon. Also, check out the leaked photos of the Canary I linked to last month.
