LiPS releases Linux phone spec

The Linux Phone Standards (LiPS) forum released a set of specifications for mobile developers targeting Linux. The LiPS spec defines a reference set of APIs for accessing an address book, enabling voice calls and inputting text. The user interface is based on Gnome's GTK.
