Motally unveils beta app analytics service

Mobile analytics provider Motally announced the beta launch of its mobile application analytics service for iPhone and Blackberry,  promising developers expanded insight and control over app data. According to Motally, service features include specific event tracking, demographic data collection and configurable delivery mechanisms, all information that developers can mine to learn more about their users, optimize product offerings and maximize ROI on advertising efforts. Motally adds that the new app analytics tools share a common interface with its existing mobile web analytics solution--the hosted service is available in both a free community version and a premium enterprise version.
