Opera Mini 4.1 mobile web browser debuts

Web browser development firm Opera Software released the beta preview of its Opera Mini 4.1 mobile web browser, promising a more interactive browsing experience on both the handset and the Internet. According to Opera, the newest Mini is up to 50 percent faster than Opera Mini 4, with new features including automatic URL completion suggestions, the ability to save web pages for subsequent offline viewing, in-page content searching, and file download and upload. Opera Mini is now available to download for beta testing.

I downloaded Opera Mini 3.1. It loads up pretty fast and looks almost like a real computer web page. I wonder if that new web browsing feature that Sprint is suppose to launch will rival this browser or be better. I use this browser more than the one I have on my phone. Sometimes, vice versa. Maybe they should offer this on smartphones rather than a cellphone! Who knows if a regular cellphone can duplicate an exact web page and do what you can on such a page with a normal computer or laptop! It great that we have all these technological advances with our cellphones! I hope our desktops do not become obsolete....
