WinMo 6.5 on May 11? Maybe not

It looks like Microsoft won't be unveiling Windows Mobile 6.5 on May 11 after all. As reported last week, a Windows Mobile Team Blog entry indicated Microsoft planned to take the wraps off the updated WinMo 6.5 OS in conjunction with its Tech-Ed 2009 event in Los Angeles. But according to Microsoft, the blog entry was misinterpreted by multiple news organizations, and the software giant has since clarified the post to reflect that it will do little more at Tech-Ed than demo some upcoming WinMo 6.5 features and functionality as well as address the platform's future.
