Wireless network neutrality
The fight over network neutrality is coming to wireless. Skype fired the first shot by asking the FCC to affirm that existing neutrality and interconnect rules apply to wireless networks too. CTIA asserts that Skype's logic is flawed and that forcing network neutrality on carriers would result in a less competitive marketplace. Check out Brian Dolan's report in FierceWireless for a detailed look at the issues.

I recently moved in with my girlfriend, and I'm renting an apartment in a neighboring town. I had used comcast internet+phone (and skype) for $74. That was ok, except I prefer the skype. I dropped the phone part, now $54 per month. However, I don't want to pay that twice just to use one laptop. I'm thinking of getting a wireless connection that would allow me to use it at both locations and at another place where I go occassionally. My current cellphone plan costs me 10c per minute. I would like to use skype in all three locations. I'm wondering whether the quality of the bandwidth on verizon wireless is good enough and whether people have had good or bad experiences with skype on that network.
Will a skype phone (e..g. Philips VOIP841 Wireless IP Phone) work on verizon wireless? How? How much bandwidth does a call consume? How expensive will that be on verizon wireless?

I noticed a $40 plan on verizon wireless for 5MB per month or $60 for 5GB per month. I assume I need the later to make or receive skype calls. I'm interested in knowing more detailed recommendations.
