Buffalo Studios made headlines in January when it issued an open letter to Zynga (NASDAQ:ZNGA), alleging Zynga Bingo directly copied its title Bingo Blitz. Facebook highlighted Buffalo Studios' ability to maintain a consistent gaming experience across multiple platforms, strong app retention rates and ability to tie Facebook and mobile into a unified experience.

Social games like Bingo Blitz continue to be some of the most popular types of apps, and with a steady following across multiple platforms, the future looks good for Buffalo Studios.

What's next: Buffalo Studios released Penguinauts for Facebook as well as another Bingo title, Bingo Rush, to iOS. If these titles prove as successful, they could expand to additional platforms as well.
